How long is the subscription service?
The complimentary length of subscription service varies according
to how the product was obtained. Products purchased from a retail
store or from an online store will typically include a 12 month
subscription service. Products that came pre-installed on your computer
or was bundled with a hardware device (such as a modem) will typically
include a subscription service of less than 12 months.
When your subscription service nears its expiration, LiveUpdate
notifies you so that you can renew your subscription service.
Purchasing a 12 months renewal to your subscription service provides
continued access to protection updates. You can also upgrade to the
new 2002 version of your product and receive a free 12 months subs
